Laura
I  have participated in Middle Eastern dance since 2003.

After the birth of my third child, I knew I had to start an exercise
program to get back into shape.  My sister brought home a flyer for
belly dancing classes, and voila!

Originally started as a exercise program, I had no idea I would one
day be the owner of several sparkly bras!  But Middle Eastern dance
is wonderful for the mind and body, how can one not help but join in.

Taking my first career know-how of middle school English teacher , I
have applied that "teacher knowledge" to the curriculum of Belly
Dance.  As a long-time resident of Rochester, Girl Scout leader and
active church member, I love teaching women and girls the beauty
and art of this glorious dance.

first-hand with milongueros there.  Lois will teach you not only
Buenos Aires, but infuses her classes with information about the
music, origins, and unique personality of the Porteno's in order to
foster a deeper understanding of the passion of tango which is so
much more than a dance.  Lois's classes are fun in addition to being
full of great information.
Nahimana
Belly Dance has kept women strong in mind, body and spirit for
thousands of years. The Physical, mental and social benefits of this
beautiful dance form transcend all boundaries of age or body type….
Any woman can Belly Dance! As an instructor my greatest joy is
helping each woman discover the powerful, feminine and ageless
spirit within them. Like so many others, I took my first Belly Dance
class out of curiosity and in a last ditch effort to find an exorcise
program to help battle a chronic illness. That class changed my life!
There is a reason why this dance has endured for countless eons.
The reasons are different for each woman but the benefits are
universal.
