Middle Eastern dance, known in the West as belly dance, originated as a celebrations of women’s bodies danced by and for women. Women find a supportive and relaxed environment to learn how to belly dance, get some great exercise and meet new friends.

Historically, the tradition of belly dance was passed from women to girls in an all-female environment. Re-capture that sense of community while you exercise your body from head to toe. Unlike other dance fitness classes, this class will focus on proper movement execution (to minimize injury) while strengthening muscles and dancing to the beats of the Middle East.
