Invite Sadiya to celebrate with your child on her/his special day with a Happy Hips Children’s Party. Sadiya will tailor a party specifically to the interests of your child.
Here is an example of a typical party:
The belly dance portion of your child’s party will often last 1 hour. Sadiya will greet the guests with Middle Eastern music and temporary tattoos as they arrive.
Once everyone has had a chance to meet Sadiya and get their temporary tattoo, Sadiya will entertain the children with a brief dance. The length of the dance will depend on the age of the children, their attention span during the actual dance and their level of excitement! Most performances last 2-3 minutes.
- If the children are going to make their own hip scarves then they will do this next. Often parents decide to use the hip scarf craft as a party favor.
- Finally, as the hip scarves are drying, the guests will learn belly dance moves and have the opportunity to perform with Sadiya.
- Many families schedule a 2 hour party with the belly dance portion for the first hour and cake and presents for the last part of the party.
- Sometimes mothers like to join in on the lesson as well!

- Belly Dance Party = $100, (1 hour) includes: – Performance by Sadiya – Belly Dance Lesson – Temporary tattoos
- Hip Scarf Project includes: -Girls can make and wear their own beaded hip scarves. -$12 per child (Birthday girl’s is FREE) If you choose NOT to make hip scarves, I have hip scarves for the children to borrow for their lesson.
- Additional time beyond scheduled party of 1 hour will be billed at $25 per 1/2 hour.

Sadiya is available to perform for your special event. She has performed at bridal showers, bachelorette parties, birthday parties, women’s groups, restaurants, and wedding receptions. All of her performances are family friendly. Add a lesson for your group at no extra charge. No all male groups, please. Rates begin at $125/show.
Private lessons for yourself or as a gift
Private lessons can be scheduled for you or a friend (adults and children). This makes a perfect birthday or holiday gift. Rates begin at $40/hour
