Yan Li majored Chinese art history and cultural anthropology. She has loved to dance from her childhood and keeps dance for her whole life.
She took some Chinese professional national and minority dances classes in the college then started to work as an assistance teacher and teacher at two dance schools that her famous dancer friends ran in China in her spare time. Yan Li came to US in 1999 and has started to teach and directed Chinese national and minority dances at community education center and variety multiple cultural festivals and Chinese Spring festival in different states. She also has been a Chinese language and culture and art instructor in variety schools.
